Marc Goodwin

Marc Goodwin is an architectural photographer, writer and teacher. He was born in London and currently divides his time between Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. His work has been published in six architecture books, a city guide to Barcelona, and countless times in the architectural press. Marc graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California in San Diego, where he studied English and Photography. He received a Masters degree in Image and Communication from Goldsmiths College, London and a Doctorate from Aalto University, Helsinki. He was a recipient of the prestigious Finnish Cultural Foundation Grant, the Eugene & Nygren Foundation Grant, a CIMO grant and a three-year research grant from Aalto University. His recently published doctoral thesis - Architecture’s Discursive Space, Photography - opposes conventional architectural photography to one that focuses on a system of atmospheres. Since completion of his doctorate he has been travelling the globe non-stop to produce the Architecture Studios Atlas.

Cecilia Galera

Cecilia, jeune photographe récemment diplômée de la prestigieuse École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles apporte à Archmospheres toutes ces connaissances du monde de l'art contemporain. Au-delà de sa démarche artistique, elle développe un travail de recherche sur les conventions qui régissent la création contemporaine. Son mémoire qui porte sur la pratique curatoriale actuelle est ainsi le premier résultat de cette réflexion. Au sein d'Archmospheres Cecilia met à profit sa créativité et ses connaissances artistiques pour penser autrement la photographie d'architecture. Sur le plan pratique, c'est elle qui s'occupe en grande partie et avec le plus grand soin de la post production. Elle s'occupe également de toute la communication avec les pays francophones et hispanophones.
